having everything in a single repo is a great idea!

I ordered the PCBs and will solder the components when I have the chance.
We would like to share your development in our wiki, so users have the option to build your version instead of the current one.

If you can share a detailed BOM for your version it would help people to get the right components.

That's great. Let me know how they turn out. I'll also be ordering them later this month, but I need to finish my curren suit first. Afterwards I'll roll some Micro K-ceptor boards for fingers with 0.5 pitch FFC cables.. just to try them out. The spacing will be challenging so I might switch to 0603 and see if I can get JLCPB to SMT-assemble them. They don't carry the address translator and IMU ICs so I will have to solder them afterwards.

Regarding the wiki - Absolutely! I will make an orderable BOM later today.

Bear in mind that the STL files are tagged with v1.2 and fit the current tested v1.2 Mini K-Ceptors.
I assume you ordered v1.3. If so, wait a bit with 3D printing them.
I will make an updated version of the enclosures since the led openings need to be shifted slightly 🙂
Encolsure design for the Mini HUB is still pending.

I've just committed the BOM file for the Mini K-Ceptor v1.3 on my github
All parts could be ordered from Mouser. However one can save around 15-20$ by ordering the passives from LCSC.

I want rebuild the version of your project too.

In your partlist is digikey with the same first few items as Mouser.
Is it a price comparison?

Where do you order your pcb?

Do you use the same parts for the hub as the coredata hub with just a smaller pcb?

The whole suit seems to be alive 😀 . How do I "unlock" the cubes and link them to the female body parts to make her reflect the suits motions?

The Mini HUB enclosure came out fine, i think. I've even added a light pipe for the RGB LED 🙂

valor I'll be interested to see your results. I've been having a sideways knee bending issue on the left leg that persists even if K-Ceptors are changed out.

It's been very quite few weeks as we have been hit with cold and flue.

AxonSpark I've not had any problems with the knees bending with the calibrated sensors. I still need to calibrate all other sensors and I've to do it in "quite" location. My workshop is filled with equipment some of which is running 24/7.

valor Weird. I don't know what's causing that knee issue. I just posted some new tests (and now they're both bending sideways): https://forum.chordata.cc/d/51-test-1/61

Hopefully @daylanKifky will have an idea of what's going on with that. How accurate are your arm/hand positions? Clapping or resting my hands on my head isn't too accurate, but that might come down to me changing the model/bones to better reflect my proportions.

In one of the posts above I wrote

All of the resistors are not 0805.

This was an error which I could not edit out.
the correct version is of course:

All of the resistors are NOW 0805.

I will probably test out the suite again when I get some time next week. On the last GIF you can probably see that the right hand sensors resting on table are virtually stationary did not drift much at all.

Could it be that sensor itself is loose? How are you mouting them? Velcro, Elastic band or...?
For convenience while testing I have my HUB and RasPI mounted on a spare Airsoft plate carrier vest which I had lying around. The side pocket of the vest can carry a couple of USB powerbanks.

For Mini K-ceptors I've printed clips in which the sensors click-fit. The clips are then just super-glued to an elastic band.

Did you noticed any downgrading of the wifi signal of the raspberry when placing the hub on top of it?

Not really. There has to be some effect but considering that the hub is not exactly on top the wifi block and that there is 15mm height between the planes the effect might not be critical.
However, I have not checked the signal levels. So this has to be studied more closely.

Thanks a lot. The BOM for the Mini-K ceptors included the Digikey just for price comparison, I've ordered my parts from Mouser, but ordering the passives from LCSC.
The PCB's were ordered from JLCPCB. Great value for the money.
The Mini-HUB parts are slightly different, mostly the packaging of the IC and the passive components is smaller and the modular jacks I used are different from the original Chrodata Hub.
I have not had time to make the BOM for my Mini HUB but I will try to do so during this weekend.
Meanwhile, you can start 3D printing the casings 😃

I orderd the pcbs already. Sadly it need 7-10 workdays.
It would be awsome if you could help me later on the working process. Its my first electrical project 🙂
Ill create a thread later for it.

Are you able to show what your suitversion can do? Like a short mocap animation?
