I will re-calibrate the KC. It seems like the direction of the rotation doesn't matter either, but that wasn't specifically addressed. I have plastic screws. I will replace the ones in the KC case with plastic ones. Still not sure why the tilt and nod functions seem to be consistently swapped, but I will address the things I can change first and then see what happens. If the problems persist I will post a dump.
I don't know if it matters, but I did choose stainless steel screws to hold together that KC case exactly because they are non-magnetic. I will swap out for plastic ones anyway, but it was my understanding that if they were non-magnetic, they were OK.
