We want to honor the interest that our project has received from an important number of people so we are launching our first pre-soldered kits for building a whole suit!

This initial batch will be quite limited. If you decide to acquire one of our kits at this stage, you'll become an official beta tester allowing you to have an active role on the shaping of this new system. We are particularly interested on understanding how the user experience is perceived, and if some tweaking should be done in order to make the system more comfortable to use.

ToddJFilms Hello there, Todd. We've now reached the maximum number of suits we could offer for the beta-testing phase. In spite of that, I do advise you to keep in touch, as things are moving and we'll surely have a new batch of prototypes (or maybe even a production system). Thanks for all of the support!

I also want to become a beta tester. For years I have been waiting for this tech to be available without markers or rings of cameras. It will help me program my animatronic band It takes me days, sometimes more than a week to program each servo manually to create these routines. With this tech, I could do it in 15 minutes.

If we don't hear back and are not chosen as a Beta Tester, how can we purchase the kit? I know it's not out to the public yet, that's the whole point of Beta Testing. But if I can purchase it, I will still participate in the Beta program, documenting my build, and helping others when I can once I am more familiar with the build.

HalloweenBob Hello there! We're actually out of further sits to offer, as we had only the minimal requirements for the beta-testing stage. We hope to release new prototypes (or a first-stage production suit) soon, so stay in touch. Also remember that we can help you build your own suit if you decide to go the DIY route, so do check the wiki and feel free to ask for any advise you need on this forum. I am happy to go the DIY route, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to get the boards made. Are there 3 different boards that need to be made? If so, I can't find anyone who will make them without the gerber files that they need. Where can I get those? I only found files related to the K_ceptor boards and the hub. I saw nothing about the 3rd small piggyback board that appears to attach to the K_ceptors. Is there any particular variety of Raspberry Pi that I should be buying? I would like to start immediately, but I'm already dead in the water from the start.

You have to create the GERBERS from the PCB source files using KICAD.

A Raspberry 3, or 3 b+ (the latter supports 5Ghz wifi, which is a good thing to have if you want to do live capture performance with public)

There's the downloads page with separated compressed files for every component on the system. But during beta period it is better to get the sources from the Gitlab repositories in order to get the most recent version.
