kmw199614 What type of PCB should I have made (2-layer vs. 4-layer etc.), and is there any particular special type that I should be requesting?
2 layers, no special type
kmw199614 Are the files provided on the Downloads section of the chordata website under Hardware for the KCeptors and Hub gerber files to send to a PCB manufacturer to have made, or do they need more information or other types of files? ( In the ZIP folder download there is a .sch file, PRO file, and KICAD_PCB file) If those aren't the gerber files, how do I make ones to send?
We provide the sources, you can open them on Kicad and export your Gerbers, there are many tutorials online that explain how to do it.
You can also take a look on this other thread, recently @HalloweenBob exported and shared a set of gerbers.
