osc::OutOfBufferMemoryException

It works fine when just plug in several k-ceptors like 5 or 6. However when it goes to 12 or 15 nodes，console shows "out of buffer memory" and aborted.
I found if i unplug 3 channels including 2 feet and 1 arm of nodes before "Press a key to perform init...", then hit a key and plug whose nodes back in, sometimes this method would avoid OutOfBufferMemoryException. But if cables got loose when moving my body, consle would still throw OutOfBufferMemoryException. Any idea how to fix this problem?

could you also try to run the notochord with a flag: -t stdout
This way it should print the capture stream instead of creating OSC messages. It would not allow you to visualize the capture in blender, but it would be useful to diagnose the problem

Hi knia, and welcome to the forum!
Please give me some details about your chordata gear, did you solder the hardware yourself? which version are you using? How did you installed the notochord, and in which version of the Raspberry?

This is a strange error you are getting, it seems like somehow the OSC message created for output is larger than the allocated buffer. But that buffer is already large enough, and no one has yet reported an error like this with 15 sensors.

We could try changing a couple of lines in the notochord code and compiling again

daylanKifky i got my gear from @ShiroSaki, version is 0.2.0 beta https://gitlab.com/ShigemoriHakura/notochord.
I followed the user manual in wiki and installed notochord.
Raspberry version: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Plus Rev 1.3

after adding -t stdout, nothing printed

guess i've found the cause, i used --madgwick flag because i think madgwick works better and could have a high sending rate up to 90 by using --odr 90

So, if I understand it correctly you get the osc::OutOfBufferMemoryException only when running the notochord with the --madgwick flag

daylanKifky yes. even without --madgwick flag it still has a little chance get the osc::OutOfBufferMemoryException.
blender calibration only works with --madgwick. i also tried to wirte a calibration procedure in unity but failed. i'm not that good at programming and cant find any open source reference codes about calibration.
so i decided to use blender as a intermediary.

Yeah, writing a calibration procedure is not easy. We are working to make it happen inside the raspberry so the clients will be much easier to write.

So, you are using @ShiroSaki's version of the notochord? have you if the original version gives you the same error?

you could try changing this line in Chordata_def.h:158

#define _CHORDATA_TRANSMIT_BUFFER_SIZE 1024

#define _CHORDATA_TRANSMIT_BUFFER_SIZE 4096

and compiling the notochord again
