I'm just missing the mounting holes to be fixed with separators to the Raspberry. This Hat will need to support a considerable amount of mechanical tension though the cables, without the mounting it might end up damaging the 40 pin header (which will be acting as the mechanical fix to the RPi)

I don't know which gpio is so I left a testpad on the board.

Thanks for the reply. I will add the mounts later and maybe I will add a display to it.
I think a display can make the debug process much easier.

a good idea to get all the measurements right is to start with a template for the Rpi HAT, like this one:

The display would certainly ease the debugging process, but it would require some additions to the notochord software. Would you be able to do them?

daylanKifky For the display I think I will use SSD1306.
That's a i2c oled 0.96inch 128*64 display. small enough to add it to the hat.

The LED_CTL is on GPIO 18, pin12 of the header

By the way, we are working on the Revision 3 of the KCeptor, inspired by the form factor and some improvements we added to the KCeptor++, but adapting it to the DIY procedure.
It will also require a new revision of the Hub (as HAT of course). We haven't started designing it. Would you like to do it? I could send you the schematics and you would have the PCB layout left.
Do you use KICAD?

So you modified the notochord to send some of the info lines to the OLED display?
I assume you are using the same i2c than the rest of the system. Do you have an estimation of the bandwith used for the OLED?

daylanKifky yes. I modified the Chordata_communicator.cpp. the i2c channel will only be used when comm::info is called. so the bandwidth should not be the problem.
