I've been trying that. I sent the specs to all the providers I generally know, plus the company that discontinued the part to see if there's a substitution, and to as many places that advertise that they can get discontinued or hard to find parts. I checked with Digi-Key, Wurth, Mouser, and several others. I'm still coming up with nothing that matches the footprint on the board. By specs, I mean the drawings on the BOM, and the datasheet from the discontinued part (which are the same).
