Doesn't boot when connecting kceptor mini to Hub

When connecting my hub regularly, it boots up and even gets recognized in the program. However, when I connect a kceptor to the hub, the raspberry pi only gets a red light. I am trying to find a way to troubleshoot. When I use my multimeter to check TP1 (the location where I connect my kceptor) the voltage comes out as .13V. It seems like this isn't correct. I also don't see my kceptor light up. Is there a step I missed in the setup?

I now realize that I didn't answered your question in the other thread. Sorry about that, I was sure I answered you several days ago, but apparently I didn't.

You are using a regular R1.2 Hub with @valor mini KCeptors, right?
The problem is they are not compatible. The wiring on the mini-KC connectors is different than the one in the regular KCs, so you might be getting a short circuit which is preventing the RPi from finishing the boot process.

In order to solve it you should use valor's mini hub.
