I was doing some reading of of IMUs and I found some neat

I was looking at the mpu6050 has a pin the changes the I2c address from one to another and if you connected a pin to digital pins to all the pins on the IMUs it would all you address them one at time with by editing the pins

I'm not fully sure if this can be done LSM9DS1 if there is a way to disable the connection with an IO pin then it would light on the uses for I2c multiplexers and all the other parts I'm not sure if it ok but maybe put a transistor on he clock pin of the I2c bus to disable

Yes the LSM9DS1 has 1 bit of the i2c address that can be set in hardware. But it's not enough to cover the amount of sensors you normally need to capture the human body

What im saying is connect an enable pin to a RPI gpio to disable the gyro then send the I2c to read it then turn off it off and turn on another gpio and read the next one one

The idea of the KCeptors to that they should be daisy-chainable, allowing to build arbitrary node hierarchies. Using a dedicated wire as a Chip select would prevent that.
But yes it would work and might allow for faster bus transactions, and a overall bigger sample rate. The downside would be that it should be designed as a system with a predetermined number of sensors

daylanKifky Yeah but when would people need to make custom rigs normally most people would want the basic human rig and if you go with the simpler design at most you need a connector transistor and IMU and maybe an I2c buffer.

If you want to get technical you could use a Dflipflop to send a control bit and shift it down the chain then you could string them as much as you want. If you use an end cap you could loop the clock back to the start chain for you to loop again out again.
