BOM list of id module?

emm , maybe because of some config in my kicad i can't read the sch file correctly. so , i am coming to ask for a pdf file of schematic . and i also notice that the bom list is missing one page which is the bom list of id module , could you provide it to everyone . thanks

On the current revision of the hardware (K-Ceptor R2.2) you can solder the resistors that used to be on the ID_module directly on the KC, so i'd advice you not to use the ID_module at all.

Here's a photo of how a KC without ID_module looks like:

I'm aware that in some parts of the documentation the ID_module is still mentioned as a vital part, sorry about that.
I updated the ID module page on the wiki, please let me know if you find misleading information somewhere else.

The resistors used on the K-Ceptor in the place of the ID_module can be SMD 1206, or THT.
For a Default byped configuration you'll be good to go with :

102 kohms
182 kohms
976 kohms

That would allow you to set translation values of 0, 1 and 2. (for more values take a look at this table)

I'm curious about the problems with the kicad files, can you tell me a little more about what's happening?

i didn't notice the exist of id module until i watched the show video carefully . that is why i want to find what the id module is .
and i don't think is a good idea to use resistors to assign id manually .maybe use jump wire better ？ i think the id need to be automatic assigned and saved . if we have to manually just need to hit the reset button on kc.
the reason of the kicad file can't display correctly may is i didn't set kicad correctly . i am new to kicad and i will try to learn how to set it right tomorrow morning.....(i am UTC+8).

Just so I have no question as to which resistors control the translation values... This table refers to the resistors as R1 and R2. I'm assuming that was their numbers on the old ID module and now we are supposed to use R5 and R6 on the K-Ceptor. R1 being R5 and R2 being R6.

Also, when it says to short R2 (also RLB) to create Dec 0, do we just lay a wire across the R6 contacts, or do we short out the RLB through-hole contacts above R6? Or is that essentially the same thing?

Lastly, I know one of the LED pad arrangements are backwards, and I'm having trouble finding the thread which mentions it. On the K-Ceptor, which lead goes in the square pad? (Short lead or long lead?)

Would love to know this ASAP.

sully On the R2.2 revision (which I think you have as well), there isn't any exposed solder pad for RLB on the pcb surface, it has a profile more like a test point, so soldering is a little touchy.

Same thing happened to us. In order to get the exposed cooper arround these pads you have to plot the GERBERS with the option Do not tent vias ticked.

You're correct on R5 correlating to R1 and R2 correlating to R6 as far as the chart goes.

R5 is where you place the 976k resistor in each instance of 1 and 2.
R6 is 102k for 1 and 182k for 2.

Also correct on the surface mount and through hole pads correlating to each other. I used the through hole pads. On the R2.2 revision (which I think you have as well), there isn't any exposed solder pad for RLB on the pcb surface, it has a profile more like a test point, so soldering is a little touchy. I may short the R6 surface mount pads on all my 0 k ceptors for good measure, I probably should have done it that way in the first place.

You could just scrape the pads with a razor around the holes and then solder, couldn't you?
