Beta testing troubleshooting video series

Hi,
Many of you have been asking for it so we made this video series to better describe the most common problems and associated solutions the beta-testers are having with the hardware. So here they are

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you Beta-testers for being so patient with these issues. Your feedback has been really useful on pushing the development forward!! We have now conceived the new version of the hardware (first available trough our Kickstarter campaign on June 2020) with particular focus on solving these problems.

Thank you so much for this! Personally I've already made my peace with these problems, but this'll be a huge help for new users. Are they linked in the docs yet?

I am at the point where I am having the same issue with certain Kceptors havign errors, I think due to cabling. What is the best approach for me to fix this problem? To hand twist and crimp my own cables? Or can I simply go buy regular RJ45 cables?

in that case yes, the best solution is to make your own cables

I see. That makes it a little more difficult. Can you tell me the exact type of cable I am supposed to get to cut make these? I just don't want this project to be a waste, and it seems if I do not make my own cables, it simply will be. It would mean that we all got sent non-functional prototypes, instead of tested prototypes that have been proven to function. I just wish the process could be a little easier.

the whole idea of the betatesting process is to find the points to be improved in the prototype. As we repeatedly warned to each betatesting candidate before starting the program: it is not an straight forward process.
We are always there to help if you feel a particular part of the process is too hard to be done on your own. For example we've always offered a hand for the physical supply of parts like the new cables to those users who asked for.
