Our plans are to improve the existing remote console: a small webapp that can be visited from a computer or smartphone sharing the same LAN than the Chordata suit.
It is currently very basic, allowing the user to start/stop the capture, trigger the calibration process thought buttons, and exposes a comand line interface which gives you full control over the state of the notochord.
It was mainly conceived as a development utility, but now it will be used as a base to create a more friendly user interface. Gathering the feedback for this is one of the main goals of the beta-testing program.
On the other hand It would be great if you feel like giving a try to the development of an onboard GUI!! I think you already saw that it can take advantage of the Notochord control server (ยง2.3.1 on this document)
