I may be dumb but I can't for the life of me figure out how to connect to the wifi with the R-pi. Anyone know the commands for the raspbian_notochord os?

If you are using the OS image we provide the easiest way would be to create a wifi network with the credentials:
SSID: Chordata-net
Pass: chordata

RPi should connect automatically.
But! The wifi is turned off by default until you set your country using

sudo raspi-config

This is because each country has some specific limitation on the bands your WIFI devices are allowed to use. So the RPi avoid emitting any forbidden RF, until it knows where in the world is it.

I originally used an old Android phone to create a wifi hotspot with SSID Chordata-net and password. Then on the laptop using Blender, I connected to the wireless network Chordata-net as well.

However, I am then disconnected from the internet on my laptop and cannot view this page or search for anything. So I have changed the wireless settings on the Raspi to connect to the wireless router instead of the hotspot. That also allows the Raspi to connect to the internet, and on the laptop I can connect to the Raspi and the internet at the same time.

But we have the Android hotspot configured should we need to use a private network entirely.
