On macOS, switching tabs with Safari takes a long time. With Chrome it's a breeze.
The reason can be seen in the browser's javascript console:
Stackoverflow suggests that it's an Access-Control-Allow-Origin issue because Safari is a bit pickier.
I'm still a bit lost in the code & installation, otherwise I would've been happy to provide a patch.
